Happy New Year
It was another Xmas and New Years without you. I don't know if you know this but I was suppose to have you every other Christmas. It happened for a few years after we all moved out of Texas but it got harder and harder to get your mom to agree to those dates. Then when I got divorced it was almost impossible for me to do it on my own. I could manage summers which is why we always did so much stuff. I know you didnt like coming here all the time. You missed your friends. I get that. I think I was always upset that it seemed like your mom did nothing to make it so you wanted to visit me. She never really wanted me to be your father and now she has won. I still think of you as my daughter and always will. I love you and have loved you forever. I miss you Cara Love dad
